Have you used any of the Oxford Handbooks before? Give them a shot! Oxford Handbooks are excellent places to both start AND continue your research. They are authoritative and state-of-the-art surveys of current thinking and research by scholars in a particular field. They are wildly interdisciplinary, including quite a few that are solely focused on dance. Examples include: Oxford Handbook of Dance and Wellbeing; Oxford Handbook of Screendance Studies; Oxford Handbook of Contemporary Ballet; Oxford Handbook of Dance and Ethnicity; and many more.
