Since 1991, every first Tuesday in June is recognized as National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day. This holiday marks a time to celebrate and recognize all the work healthcare recruiters do for nurses, organizations, and patients.

This year, CNA Week 2023 is from June 15th to June 21st. With the theme of “We’re Unstoppable,” NAHCA created this toolkit for CNAs and for the skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, and staffing and home health agencies they work for so that everyone can celebrate, recognize, and pay their respects to the incredible work that the nearly 1 million-strong contingent of front-line heroes does everyday for elders and people with disabilities.

A Tribute to Vascular Nurses Around the World.

Pediatric hematology/oncology nursing is a dynamic and evolving discipline that is based on knowledge derived from theory, research and practice. It is not only the knowledge that the pediatric nurse acquires but the application of this knowledge and the ability to artfully apply it to the care of a child, adolescent and/or young adult (AYA). From playfully getting a child to take their medicine to saving their life through critical thinking, the pediatric hematology/oncology nurse is making a difference in the lives of his/her patients.

To honor the dedicated nephrology nurses who care for patients with kidney disease, ANNA has designated the second full week in September each year as Nephrology Nurses Week.

This week's mission is to promote pediatric nursing, the practice of nurses dedicated to promoting the optimal health of children and providing excellence in nursing care of children and their families. This week calls attention to the critical work that pediatric nurses provide to improve healthcare delivery. It is a time to reflect on pediatric nurses' contributions to patients, families, and communities.

National Case Management Week is October 9-15 and ACMA is ready to showcase, honor and reward case managers near and far!

During the month of November, the home care and hospice community honors the millions of nurses, home care aides, therapists, and social workers who make a remarkable difference for the patients and families they serve. These heroic caregivers play a central role in our health care system and in homes across the nation.

November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. This year's theme is "It’s About How You Live."
Hospice and palliative care programs across the country are reaching out to raise awareness about hospice and palliative care. Hospice is not a place but high-quality care that enables patients and families to focus on living as fully as possible despite a life-limiting illness. Palliative care brings this holistic model of care to people earlier in the course of a serious illness.

Med-Surg Nurses Week 2022 is here! AMSN is celebrating your amazing passion, commitment, and excellence in Med-Surg Nursing. There is no question that you deserve to be celebrated. This week take the time to recognize yourself and your fellow med-surg nurses for all that you do.

Urology nurses care for patients across the lifespan, providing guidance and treatment for a variety of urologic diseases and concerns. They work in all health care settings and specialize in such areas as continence care, male/female sexual dysfunction, infertility, oncology, surgery, cystoscopy, and urodynamics.

Through their knowledge, skills, and expertise, forensic nurses demonstrate an
ongoing commitment to quality, patient-centered care while addressing the acute and long-term health consequences of patients impacted by violence.

This special week offers numerous opportunities to highlight the NP role and increase awareness of the exceptional care NPs provide. This year's theme is NPs: Rising to Meet the Needs of Patients.
