Follow the instructions to download the McGraw Hill Access app to use AccessMedicine and other Access medical products on your mobile device.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, visit one of the following sites to create a free Access profile: AccessMedicine, AccessAnesthesiology, AccessHemOnc, AccessNeurology, AccessObGyn, AccessPediatrics, AccessPharmacy, AccessSurgery.
Click on My Profile in the upper right corner and follow the directions to create a personal profile. This login will work for any of the UCI Libraries Access medical subscriptions.
On your mobile device, visit the Android or iOS app store to download and install the Access mobile app.
Once the download is complete, log in with the username and password you created for your Access profile.
Upon logging in for the first time, your authentication will last for 90 days, after which you will need to reauthenticate by connecting to the campus network or VPN.

Follow the instructions for BMJ Best Practice account registration and mobile app download.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, use a computer or mobile device to visit the BMJ Best Practice website.
Select Your profile and then select Set up your free user profile. If you already have a personal profile, you may skip this step. Note that when you click on the profile menu, you should see the message “Access provided by: University of California Irvine.”
On your mobile device, visit the Android or iOS app store and download the BMJ Best Practice app.
Select Log In and use your personal profile credentials to sign into your BMJ account.

Follow the instructions to install the ClinicalKey app from Elsevier to access ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing on your mobile device.
To begin, apply for remote access to ClinicalKey so you can access the app wherever you are.
When prompted, enter your UCI email address.
Click on the link in the email you receive from clinicalkey@elsevier.com. Don’t delay - the link is only valid for 60 seconds! You should see a message that remote access has been confirmed.
a.) If you already have a personal ClinicalKey account (or another Elsevier account) registered with your UCI email, select Login and enter your email and password.
OR
b.) If you don’t have an account yet, select Register with us Now and complete the form using your UCI email address.
On your mobile device, visit the Android or iOS app store to install the ClinicalKey app.
Open the app and select Organizational Subscription and then select Next.
Select ClinicalKey or ClinicalKey for Nursing and then select Next.
Select the clinicalkey.com edition and then select Get Started.
Connect your mobile device to the UCI VPN.
Select Access via Network.
Navigate to settings in the lower right corner and select Register or Sign in.
Enter your UCI email address and the password you chose for your Elsevier / ClinicalKey account.

Follow the instructions to install the DynaMedex app on your mobile device.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, visit DynaMedex and create a personal account by selecting the profile icon in the upper right and then selecting Create Account. (Below this option it should read “Your access courtesy of University of California-Irvine Medical Center Libr.”) If you already have a personal account using your UCI email address, skip to step 4.
Enter your UCI email address and personal details to create your account.
Accept the privacy terms.
On your mobile device, download the app for Android or iOS and open the app.
Sign in using your UCI email address and the password you created for your personal account.

Follow the instructions to install the Micromedex apps on your mobile device.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to Merative Micromedex.
In the upper right corner, select Mobile Application Access.
Select Micromedex Native Mobile Apps.
Follow the instructions on this page to download the Micromedex Drug Reference app, Micromedex Drug Interactions app, and/or Micromedex IV Compatibility app.
Once you have downloaded and installed the app, use the password given in the instructions to begin using the app.
When your account is activated, note the expiration date. To continue using the app you will need to re-authenticate once every year. The vendor changes the passwords periodically. Follow steps 1-5 to obtain the new passwords.

Follow the instructions to install the Sanford Guide app on your mobile device.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to the Sanford Guide registration page and enter your UCI email address.
Select Start Registration.
Click on the Verify link you receive by email.
Enter your personal details, create a password, and select Submit.
Accept the privacy terms.
Note the expiration date. To continue using the app you will need to re-authenticate once every year.
On your mobile device, download the app for Android or iOS and open the app.
Click Sign In or Subscribe Now. Sign in using your UCI email address and the password you created for your personal account.
After you log in, your app will begin downloading Sanford Guide content.

Follow the instructions to access STAT!Ref: Nursing content on your mobile device. Important: Steps 1-5 cannot be completed using a mobile device - you must use a desktop or laptop computer.
Using a desktop or laptop computer (steps 1-5 cannot be done using a mobile device) while on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to TDS Health.
Click on Profile above the search bar and select Register.
Enter your UCI email address and choose a password, then select Register Now.
Select Welcome [your name]! above the search bar, then select Anywhere Login Account.
Select the blue Activate button. Note the expiration date: to continue using the app, you will need to reauthenticate by logging in and repeating this step once a year while on a campus network or connected to the VPN.
On your mobile device, download the STAT!Ref Mobile app for Android or iOS and open the app.
Accept the STAT!Ref User Responsibilities terms.
Sign in using your UCI email address and the password you created for your personal account.

Renewing your STAT!Ref Anywhere Account
Using a desktop or laptop computer, follow the instructions below to renew your access to STAT!Ref each year. Important: These steps cannot be done using a mobile device.
Using a desktop or laptop computer while on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to TDS Health.
Click on Profile above the search bar.
Enter your UCI email and password and select Log in.
Select Welcome [your name]! above the search bar, then select Anywhere Login Account.
Select the blue Renew button.
Follow the instructions to install the Thieme MedOne app on your mobile device.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to Thieme MedOne.
Select Login in the upper right corner.
Click on Create a new Account and enter your UCI email address and personal details to create your account.
Accept the privacy terms and terms of use.
On your mobile device, download the app for Android or iOS and open the app.
Sign in using your UCI email address and the password you created for your personal account.

Follow the instructions to install UpToDate on your mobile device. If you prefer not to download the app, you can still use UpToDate with a mobile browser.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to UpToDate.
Select Register in the upper right corner.
Enter your UCI email address and personal details to create your account. The system will require you to submit a verification code. The code will be sent to the email you used to create your account.
Accept the privacy terms.
On your mobile device, download the UpToDate mobile app for Android or iOS.
Open the app and sign in using your username and the password you created for your personal account.
Accept the terms of use.
After you log in, your app will begin downloading UpToDate content.

Follow the instructions to install VisualDx on your mobile device.
While on a campus network or connected to the VPN, go to VisualDx and log in using your UCI NetID.
Below the Quick Start Differential Builder, click on Create a Personal Account (see image below). If you already have a personal account tied to your UCI access, select Sign In in the upper right corner.
Select the Get the Mobile App icon, which has now replaced the Create a Personal Account icon.
Use the links or QR codes to download the mobile app for Android or iOS.
Open the app on your mobile device and select Sign In.
Log into the VisualDx app using your personal account credentials.
