The United Nations Data is a major source of international statistics. A search engine for United Nations Statistical information with more than 30+ UN statistical databases accessed through a single entry point.

United Nations Populations Division/DESA

United Nations Statistical Division Demographic & Social Statistics. The unit compiles and disseminates global statistical information, develops standards and norms for statistical activities, and supports countries’ efforts to strengthen their national statistical systems also working with the UN statistical commission. 

The World Factbook is a publication by CIA Library which provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 267 world countries.

U.S. Census International Programs. For over sixty years U.S. Census Bureau has conducted demographic, economic, and geographic studies of other countries and strengthened statistical developmenst around the world with technical assistance, software production, assistance and all kinds of international analytical work in the collection, processing, dissemination, and use of statistics with other  counterpart governments.

Office of National Statistics(ONS)  serves as the Executive Office of the UK Statistics Authority. It collects, compiles, analyzes and disseminates the range of economic, social and demographic statistics, both domestic and international. ONS produces of a wide range of statistics covering the UK economy, society and much more.

OECD i Library.  Resources from the OECD and its member countries. The theme of Social Issues, Migration and Health will likely be the most relevant and access books, reports, journals, and statistical data.

Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). Offers country reports and credit/operational risk reports for business in other countries.
