If this is your first time using the VPN, please follow the instructions on the Set Up page for your operating system:
If you've already downloaded, installed, and properly configured the VPN (i.e., used the Test My Connection button and got a message that you currently have a UCI IP address, please follow these steps to use the VPN:
- Open/launch Cisco Secure Client. [VPN address (vpn.uci.edu) should be prepopulated.]
- Select Connect. [Group setting (UCIFull) should be preselected.]
- Enter your UCInetID and password and select Login.
- Accept Duo notification.
- Select Accept to close banner window.
- When finished, open/launch Cisco Secure Client and select Disconnect.
