Filters are located at the top of the Databases A-Z list and allow users to narrow their results when browsing.
There are three default filters:
The new Databases A-Z list allow users to select and apply multiple filters at once, enhancing their usefulness.
Each database asset should be assigned at least one subject, and may be assigned multiple subjects.
The database will also be listed on the Subject homepage for any assigned subject.

When the Databases A-Z list is filtered by subject, databases assigned as "Best Bets" will be highlighted at the top of the list.
It is recommended that each subject should be have no more than 5 Best Bet databases.
The new Databases A-Z list allows you to select the order in which the Best Bet databases appear on the public page. The default order is alphabetical. If you would like to customize the Best Bets order for your subject(s), please contact the Working Group (libguides@exchange.uci.edu).
Assigning a type is optional and a database asset can be assigned more than one type.

The Vendor list is determined by the databases in our collection.
