Reflection #1 Hints

Search any of the terms that describe or define the technology development you are writing about  - some hints for advocating for a position or point of view include:

  • defining the problem
  • how does neutrality fit in the spectrum that you are studying- what are the inaccuracies of describing digital technologies as neutral
  • what results are there

Find some books or book chapter that address this: Use UCLS Catalog and search for books under any of these terms or examples:

Carefully read the prompt and the Rankin article - by finding them in UCLS -  look at the suggested sources for some additional tangents that you can develop, or some discussions of that piece to see who has cited it and chase those citations found in WoS and search the Cited References.

Think of the issues that this course covers and then consider a chapter of the Greene book. The Promise of Access and find some reviews of the book in UCLS and focus one chapter on a theme covered in the course.
