This is a group project. Theme is: Describing a real technology and its social ramification s to a fictional ambassador to Silicon Valley:.

Everyone will conduct research.  And compose a 150 word description of your project by Nov 10.

Each completed video will be 5 minutes and uploaded to YouTube as assignment indicates.  Remember, that the class is about analyzing technologies so you need to consider the "social aspects of a real technology that exists in the world."  Consider the content of your collective annotated bibliographies for content so that the videos "draw on concepts, terms, theories, authors, controversies and the analytical frameworks introduced in class" and that you have read about.

There are many sources for video clips from streaming video collections that we have.  For film, documentaries and some music you may consider starting with this Guide: Streaming Media.

For news and broadcasts, you may find the Vanderbilt Television News Archive helpful.
