Course Reserve material can be found in a few different ways:

Scan the Course Reserve List

You can visit the Course Reserves list and scan the list for your course, or search by course name or instructor.

Search the Course Reserve scope in UC Library Search

From the UC Library Search page, you can enter your keywords, course, or instructor name, and select to search the Course Reserves scope.

Use Advanced Search in UC Library Search

From the Advanced Search screen in UC Library Search, select the radio button for Course Reserves, select an appropriate field, such as Course Instructor or Course Name (or any of the other fields if you are working with a citation on a syllabus), and add your search text.

Once you find the material placed on Course Reserve, the library record will indicate how the material can be accessed. In the two records below, you can see one course reserve book available only in print, and another available in print and as an ebook.

• A book on Course Reserve available in print. The record shows its location as the Langson Library Check Out Desk (Reserves) and its call number. The record also shows there are two print copies on Course Reserve. You can take this information to the Circulation Desk at Langson Library and check it out for a limited time.

• A book on Course Reserve available in print and as an ebook. The record shows the print copy's location as the Langson Library Check Out Desk (Reserves) and its call number. That copy can be checked out for a limited time at the Langson Library Circulation Desk. The record also shows there is an ebook version of this title. Make sure you are on the UCI Full VPN, then select the link in the record to access ebook.
