My librarianship is steered by a commitment to social justice issues within the field of information studies and academia. I am an active member of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA), and I closely follow discussions and issues that arise within Critlib (short for "critical librarianship"). CritLib is a movement of library workers dedicated to bringing social justice principles into libraries, recognizing that we work in systems that favor white supremacy, capitalism, and a range of structural inequalities. In my free time, I love to practice ceramics and hang out with my foster pup, Wylie, at local coffee spots!
