Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering: Find Books

Interlibrary Loan

During COVID-19 when the Libraries are closed we are only able to obtain online content for UCI users that we don't have.  If you need materials only available in print, eMail

If you are local, you can request print materials from our collection by following instructions about obtaining them in the Library's Phased Reopening Plans.

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service enables UC students, faculty, and staff to borrow materials from other libraries that are not available at the UCI Library. Please check Library Search Catalog before requesting an ILL.  The MELVYL Request icon is the fastest and easiest way to submit ILL requests from other UC campuses and his highly encouraged - this is found in most databases and in the MELVYL catalog.  The following forms are for materials not noted in MELVYL and for which a MELVYL Request link is not included:

Finding Books

There are many ways to identify the availability of a book and whether or not it is in print. The order of this recommendation includes priorities for UCI users. Increasingly, books are becoming available as eBooks. There may be multiple records for the different formats in Library Search

Finding book chapters is increasingly important and available in the digital arena. Many eBook platforms allow one to search at the chapter or full text level, and those will be noted in each subject area.
