LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that assists with access to library resources. It's an added shortcut to publisher sites, PDFs available on your screen at all times; sending you to research faster.
provides one-click access to articles from both journal publishers and database aggregators
links to open access articles and preprint manuscripts
links to catalog page to start an interlibrary loan request when articles are not available through our subscriptions
2023 piloting links to eBooks and chapters will also be found
Simply install the extension for your preferred browser. During the installation process, you'll be asked to identify your library; simply search for Irvine.
While searching in familiar, or unfamiliar databases, Google Scholar or Open Access sites, if the UCI Libraries has the item the LibKey Nomad will locate the material and provide this pop-up button at the left corner of your screen to help get you to the article faster.
