Letters, diaries, photos, scrapbooks, personal recipe files, and other materials that document the journey to and experience of Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians in America and other countries provide valuable primary sources for the SEAA collections. These materials do not need to be in English.
Materials from Southeast Asian community groups and businesses--in California or other states--help the Southeast Asian Archive document the experiences of the Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Laotian refugees and immigrants in the United States. Examples: programs, flyers/publicity of events (cultural, political, etc.), exhibit catalogs, oral histories, photos. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss prospective donations.
These materials do not need to be in English.
