Configure EndNote to retrieve fulltext through UC-eLinks while on campus or while connected to the Software VPN
To use UC-eLinks from within EndNote, make the following modification:
http://ucelinks.cdlib.org:8888/sfx_local
You can now right click on references (or multiple selected reference) and select the Find Full Text option.
Currently the Libraries do not provide access to any version of EndNote. One can download a 30-day trial from the EndNote website.

The desktop vesion of EndNote is available for download to UCI students, faculty, and staff for $119.95 through the ThinkEDU online store.
This purchase requires an “Academic ID” which consists of your UCI email address.

Importing your EndNote library to RefWorks:
When importing large amounts of references, it is recommended to import no more than 2500 records (or 3MB of files) at a single time. This will ensure a successful import.
Apple will be releasing macOS 10.15 Catalina this fall. Apple has made the decision to drop all 32-bit application support with this release, which will impact EndNote. EndNote X9 for macOS will be extensively updated for compatibility prior to the launch of Catalina.
