ABELL (1920 - present) aims to list monographs, periodical articles, critical editions of literary works, book reviews, collections of essays and doctoral dissertations published anywhere in the world. A more current version of ABELL exists in LION.
Provides citations to essays and articles contained in anthologies and collections of essays, and miscellaneous works including annuals and serials, published in the US, UK, and Canada. The Index focuses on the humanities and social sciences from 1900-1984.
Includes international coverage of materials in the areas of literature, languages, linguistics, and folklore from over 4,000 journals, series, books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies.
The PEP contains the complete FULL TEXT of 26 premier journals in psychoanalysis, 56 classic psychoanalytic books, and all 24 volumes of The Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud.
Works of many literature scholars can be found in the Citation Indexes for Social Sciences along with the Arts and Humanities. One can also trace citations and the use of works in journal articles in this database. Coverage: Arts & Humanities 1975-now.
