The Arts Media Center (AMC), located in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, houses CDs and LPs (vinyl) and the equipment to play them. The AMC also has equipment and software available to all Arts Majors. Note: The Arts Media Center hours are shorter than Langson Library.
The Multimedia Resources Center (MRC), located in the Science Library, houses the Libraries' video collections--audio collections are in the CTSA Arts Media Center. UCI undergraduates must view the videos in the MRC, which do not circulate to undergraduates. Faculty and graduate students may check out videos to preview at home. The MRC also has audiovisual and computing equipment that can be checked out to UCI students, faculty, and staff. The loan periods range from 2-48 hours for video cameras, boom mic kits, digital sound recorders, headphones, laptops, and other hardware. There are at least 2 Yamaha 510 keyboards that must be used on-site.
