Social Ecology: Home

The School of Social Ecology is served by two Subject/Liaison Librarians who each work with separate academic departments in the School and back each other up.

Multimedia Resource Center

The Multimedia Resource Center (MRC) is located on the opposite side of  the Ayala Science Library - and has a separate entrance from the outside courtyard.  The entire media collection of films and DVDs, specialized software and laser discs is located there.  Viewing options are available and the technology labs are open when classes are not meeting there.  In addition there is a Presentation Studio and a 3D printing service.

Copying/Printing at the Libraries

The UCI PhotoID will serve as your copy card for copying and xeroxing.  It requires that money be added to it by inserting it in one of the Regenerator machines found throughout the UCI Libraries.  Enter a few dollars at a time and add to it when it is depleted.  Costs will be debited at the rate of 8 cents per copy or xerox made; 12 cents per page of printing.

To print a poster or to make slides for your work at UCI there are several options about where to go.  First, you should save the poster and size it accordingly.  The following installations are places that will print your poster or help you with digital imaging of slides and other photographic processes:

Introduction to Social Ecology Academic Programs
