The Learning Outcomes of this Poster Session are:

1. To understand the development of the national agenda for Information Literacy and its parallels for Scholarly Communication
2. To learn new ideas and best practices that will help libraries and librarians to leverage programmatic efforts in the areas of scholarly communication and information literacy for the maximum benefit of library users and members of the academic community
3. To understand the development of the national agenda for Information Literacy and identify best practices that can apply to the development of a nationalagenda for Scholarly Communications
4. Be prepared to engage in coversations on how to promote awareness and action that involve interested stakeholders in higher education and different fields of librarianship.

Scholarly Communication is the process for sharing and publishing research findings so that scholarship, research and creative output is available to the wider academic community and beyond.
