UCI Law Library Administrative Law Research Guide
"Administrative law is comprised of rules, regulations, agency decisions, and executive orders created by administrative and executive agencies. Federal and state agencies have the authority to promulgate law under the Administrative Procedure Act and the California Administrative Act.
Proposed regulations are printed chronologically in the Federal Register or, in California, the California Regulatory Notice Register (Z Register). When codified, they are printed in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) or the California Code of Regulations."
