When the UCI Libraries do not have a book, journal article, or government publication you want, or the Libraries' copy is checked out, you may have the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service borrow a copy for you from another library. This service is available only to currently-enrolled UCI students, faculty, and staff.
The fastest way to request materials not available at UCI is to use the Request link in the Melvyl Catalog.
For materials not in Melvyl, search WorldCat and use the orange UC-eLinks button. At the UC-eLinks screen, the online form is at the Request link.
ANTPAC and Melvyl are open to all -- no UC affiliated needed. Search these catalogs to see look for books, whole journals, government publications, and videos when you have keywords, authors, and/or titles in mind. For each item you want to read, be sure to write down not just the call number, but also the location and title.
